How to tell the real Goldbet site from a copy

Fake casino sites exist. Here is how to make sure you are on the real Goldbet.

How to recognise the official site

The official address of the casino is https://goldbet.io/. A bookmark protects you better than any search result or link from a stranger. Look-alike pages sometimes appear in search results and ads.

In the footer. The licence number, ALSI-012401005-FI1, is listed there as well. Launched in 2023. Licence and operator are covered in more detail in the Goldbet review.

Make sure the browser shows the padlock next to the address. Then read the address carefully, letter by letter. Copies often have broken links, odd translations or missing pages. Never enter payment details on a domain you have not verified.

When the main domain is blocked

Depending on where you are, the main domain may not open. When that happens, the team can point you to a safe way in.

Only the operator can say which addresses are genuine. Get the current address from support or the official channels, not from search results. Websites that publish long lists of so-called working mirrors are not a reliable source, even when they look helpful. Once you have the confirmed address, bookmark it and use that bookmark every time.

When the site will not load

A few simple steps usually help:

• Ignore unofficial lists of so-called mirrors
• Request the correct link from the team
• Open the site only from your own bookmark
• Reload the page and check the connection

Avoiding fake sites and phishing

Clone sites copy the design of real casinos to steal logins and payments. They often spread through messages, social media posts or ads promising unusual bonuses. Unrealistic bonuses should make you more careful. Real Goldbet promo codes are covered in a separate guide.

Any message asking for your password is a scam. The same applies to one-time codes sent by SMS or email. Report fakes to the team, ideally with a screenshot and the address. The customer support guide lists the official channels.

Typed your login on a doubtful page? Reset it on the official site immediately. Next, enable 2FA and report the incident to support. Let your bank or wallet know if payment data was exposed.

Account security

Turn on two-factor authentication. With 2FA, a stolen password alone is not enough to get in. Use a unique password that you do not use anywhere else.

Avoid deposits and withdrawals on open Wi-Fi networks. Keep your phone and browser updated, since updates fix security holes. Avoid saving your login on a computer others use.

Look at your account activity now and then. If you notice a login or payment you do not recognise, change your password and contact support immediately. Support is available 24/7 via live chat, email and Telegram. Protect the mailbox tied to your casino account with its own strong password and 2FA.

Apps and downloads

Never install a casino app from an unknown source. Unsure about a download link? Ask support to confirm it. Installation is described in our Android app guide.

A home-screen shortcut to the mobile site is a safe alternative to any app. It is one of the simplest anti-phishing measures. The mobile site has a guide of its own. Update the bookmark if the casino announces a new address.

Avoid add-ons and programs that claim to predict games or unlock extra bonuses. Such tools may log what you type, and steal your login. No legitimate tool can change the outcome of a game, so there is never a reason to install one.

Before you log in

Keep this short checklist in mind. Look at the domain, padlock and footer details. Use only trusted links, never from random ads.

Turn on 2FA, use a unique password and log out on shared devices. Never hand over login details, and report such requests. Use the responsible gaming tools if you need them. Security first, then entertainment. If a page fails one of these checks, leave it and report it, which helps protect other players too.
